The film, “Dr. Zhivago”, follows the life of Zhivago, a physician and poet, during the years following the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. Zhivago marries an upper class girl and begins raising a family when his life is totally disrupted by the First World War and then by the Revolution. Lara, whose husband’s sole passion is the Revolution, falls in love with Zhivago. Zhivago finds himself torn between fidelity and passion.
