January 23, 2006 Wordplay Believe it or not there's a crossword puzzle movie playing at Sundance and it sounds like it's a hit. According to an article in The Mercury News “Wordplay” is a documentary about crossword puzzles and the people who love them. It sounds like it focuses mainly on our hero, Will Shortz, the New York Times crossword puzzle editor. Bill Clinton, Bob Dole and John Stewart, among others, also appear in the movie.
